The intent was to get them acquainted with humans, and then put them up for adoption (there are still 2 more kittens to catch/spay/neuter/socialize), but we've grown rather fond of these first two. Not sure how Miss Daisy Puss, our 10-year-old persnickety female cat, will feel about having kittens around if we can't bear to let them go... Wish us luck!

I couldn't resist adding this picture to my daily gallery. Meet Callie, a feral kitten who, along with her brother Greycoat (see next picture in gallery), are being socialized by my husband and me. Callie's a tiny little thing, no more than half the size of her brother. I love how she wrapped her tail around her legs for her very first picture, as if she were posing!

The intent was to get them acquainted with humans, and then put them up for adoption (there are still 2 more kittens to catch/spay/neuter/socialize), but we've grown rather fond of these first two, particularly this sweetheart.
